- Like You Do

1. Like You Do – A Song Review
Aditi Sri’s Like You Do was released in 2019. Like You Do begins with catchy tunes and slowly picks up the pace to becoming a wild party anthem. A must-hear party song that will keep you dancing on your toes. Like You Do is an energetic tune with a hint of rock and hip-hop. A song that gives you RnB disco vibes from the songs the music industry produced back in the 70s! The song finishes off with the same beats it began with. Are you having an only girls’ night and want to dance off to a catchy new song instead of listening to the same old songs on repeat? Then we recommend listening and grooving to the catchy tunes of Like You Do!
2. On My Own – A Song Review
On My Own, a single released in 2017, is an empowering song that teaches the importance of being strong and keep moving forward despite the difficult circumstances in one’s life. In this song, Aditi Sri sings, “Said that you’d change, but you’ll always be the same,” as she refers to her toxic ex who had supposedly played with her feelings. She goes on to sing, “I see the Canvas so well, when I take time for myself,” which means that Sri views life from a clearer perspective when she takes time for herself instead of wasting time on an individual who does not see her true worth. This song is a must-hear if you’re looking for a motivational boost to realize your true worth!
3. Shine – A Song Review
Shine was a single released in 2018. Mixed with a hint of RnB and Jazz background music, Shine is a song way ahead of its time! One of the best lines of the Shine by Aditi Sri is, “it’s my life, time to own it. It’s my time, you better stay out of my lane. Don’t make me tell you again.” These lines tell us how important it is to set up personal boundaries, even with those whom we hold dearest, if we wish to live life with peace of mind. When Sri sang, “Watch me break the chain, this time there’s no other way,” it teaches its listeners that breaking the toxic generational cycles is important if an individual wishes to live his life smoothly.
