Topping the list of nominees is none other than the iconic Drake, a longstanding force in the industry who has amassed an impressive 15 BET Awards throughout his career. The Canadian rapper, aged 36, secured a staggering seven nominations this year, including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, and Album of the Year, among others. Another trailblazing artist, Beyoncé, the record holder for the most BET Awards with 33 wins, received four additional nominations. The 41-year-old “Lemonade” songstress is vying for Album of the Year, Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Viewer’s Choice Award, and the BET Her Award.

While the host of the awards show is yet to be revealed, Bow Wow has been announced as the main host of House of BET, a four-day celebration in L.A. from Thursday, June 22, to Sunday, coinciding with the BET Awards. Previous hosts have included the talented Taraji P. Henson in 2021 and 2022, as well as Amanda Seales in 2020.
