When I look back over all the interviews that I have done, I am just in awe over all of the awesome talents that helped IRMIX Radio to become what it was, what it can be, and what it will be. Suze Lanier-Bramlett was a guest on my radio show Industry Revue in the Mix, along with Chad Burleson that served as a co-host back in November of 2011. She came on the show to promote her album Swamp Cabaret, and her latest single at that time was called Soup Kitchen, a song dedicated to the time period of financial strife, a theme song to feed the hungry. It seems that this song is still needed given the current State of Affairs.
We talked about everything from the death of her husband, Delaney Bramlett, the healing period, and acceptance of his passing, to her movie and television career. But we could not just let it end there, we had to talk to her about the original Wes Craven film The Hills Have Eyes which she starred.
It was a fun show – she gave a delightfully entertaining interview that was full of laughs.
I have to say that we have remained in contact since our interview, and she has given me tips on my own career as a singer/songwriter. Without further ado, our interview with Suze Lanier-Bramlett.
