A Louisiana native, Zack Landry, will release “Hold On” his new single on March 12th, 2021 whose pre-sale starts on February 26th.
Born and brought up in Vacherie, the Louisiana singer Zachariah D Landry had always possessed a passion, love, and talent in music that he had not seen early-on in life. At the age of 15, he began playing piano and was also able to easily duplicate music he heard “by ear.” Zack Landry also enrolled in several classes to develop his music reading skills and during these days, his family had realized that his talent for music was a gift from God.
In 2005, amidst Hurricane Katrina, Zack’s family’s faced certain unforeseen circumstances. Through these unyielding times for himself and his family, Zack Landry wrote several songs, “I Realize” and “Lord, We Say Thank You.” Later, Zack sang these songs with his group of friends formed in 2008 whom he called Phaze. Together, they recorded an album in 2015, “Come On, Praise Him.”
The various places they performed together were at the New Orleans Chapter of Gospel Music Workshop of America and at the New Orleans Jazzfest on the Gospel Stage. Pastor Donnie McClurkin had also performed together with Zack, who had told him to “set a standard in music. Be a trendsetter, not a follower.”
Zack’s love and talent for music led him to win numerous awards. In 2015, Zack Landry won the Rhythm of Gospel Best Contemporary Artist Award and in 2016, he won the NOLA Award for Best Contemporary Artist. In 2016, Zack was a minister of music with a mission to “fulfill God’s word through music.”
Zack’s mission is prevalent in his new single “Hold On” which is scheduled to be released on 12th March 2021 with IndieBlue Records and its pre-sale begins on February 26th. Publicity campaigns and national radio announcements are currently in the process.
